Preparation Strategy — 7 Weeks to June 22

With exam dates from June 22–30 and the application deadline on May 27, you have approximately 7 weeks from today to prepare. Here’s how to use them:

Weeks 1–2 (Now to May 17): Paper 1 Foundation Paper 1 is identical for all subjects and highly scorable. Cover all 10 units systematically: Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Communication, Comprehension, Data Interpretation, ICT, Reasoning, Mathematical Aptitude, Higher Education, and Environment. Use KVS Madaan or Trueman’s NET Paper 1 as your primary reference.

Weeks 3–4 (May 18 – June 1): Paper 2 Depth Dive deep into your subject’s Paper 2 syllabus. Previous year question papers are the single most valuable resource — UGC NET questions repeat concepts regularly.

Weeks 5–6 (June 2–15): Mock Tests and Full Papers Attempt at least 3 full-length mock exams per week. Focus especially on time management — 150 questions in 3 hours requires disciplined pacing.

Week 7 (June 16–21): Final Revision Light revision only. Key definitions, important frameworks, data interpretation shortcuts. Sleep well on June 21.

A career in academic teaching or research is one of the most intellectually fulfilling paths available to postgraduate students in India. UGC NET June 2026 is your gateway. The application is open — apply before May 27.
